Before a child can step into a classroom, they need to be able to open a schoolbag. This year, 4,135 children were able to do so with pride and dignity, thanks to a remarkable wave of civic mobilisation across Belgium.

A simple pencil case, a notebook, a ruler — these modest items can transform a child’s daily life. The kits provided gave each pupil the tools they needed and a real sense of belonging in the classroom.
