In 2025, the Restos du Cœur of Belgium distributed 1,569,180 meals and food parcels. They continue to face constant requests for food aid. In just a few years, the number of meals distributed has risen sharply, reflecting a worrying reality: more and more people and families are struggling to meet their basic needs. They record an increase of +134% compared with 2019, the reference year before the various crises.

Today, nearly one person in five in Belgium lives in poverty or social exclusion. Every day, our 21 Restos du Cœur welcome thousands of beneficiaries: single‑parent families, precarious workers, students, elderly people or those experiencing homelessness.

To respond to this urgent situation, we must strengthen our actions to ensure the daily supply of our Restos du Cœur, as the costs linked to food aid and logistics continue to rise.

By donating to the Restos du Cœur of Belgium, you may benefit from a tax deduction if your donation is €40 or more. A tax certificate will be sent to you in March of the year following your donation.
