In 2024, the Restos du Cœur of Belgium distributed 1,631,189 meals, compared with 670,000 in 2019. That is an increase of 144 % in just five years.

Today, nearly one in five people in Belgium lives in poverty or social exclusion. This stark reality is reflected in our figures: the demand for food aid continues to rise, and we must redouble our efforts to meet it.

To cope, the Federation had to purchase nearly 142 tonnes of goods in 2024, compared with just 41 tonnes in 2023 — a staggering increase of 244 %. These essential purchases come at a significant cost, which your donations help us to cover.

A donation to the Resto du Coeur of Belgium is tax deductible, if it is €40 or more. A tax certificate will be sent to you in March of the year following your donation.

A donation of €40 will cost you only €22.
A donation of €60 will cost you only €33.
A donation of €80 will cost you only €44.
