Annual Food Collection Drive: join us on
6 and 7 March

On 6 and 7 March, the Restos du Cœur of Belgium are organising their Annual Food Collection Drive, an essential event that helps strengthen food stocks and support people facing hardship throughout the year.

Thanks to the public’s generosity, this collection makes it possible to collect non‑perishable food items and basic necessities, which will then be used to prepare meals or redistributed in the participating Restos du Cœur.

A simple gesture, a concrete help

Taking part in the collection is within everyone’s reach.

While doing your shopping, you simply place a few products in the designated stands located at the exit of the checkouts: pasta, rice, tins, flour, oil, baby products or hygiene items.

These donations are vital. They help complete the weekly food parcels, prepare meals, and ensure regular support for individuals and families who rely on this assistance.

Where and when to take part

The collection will take place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March in many partner shops.

This year, collection points will be organised in particular at:

  • Charleroi: Delhaize Shopping Cora Châtelineau
  • Brussels and Laeken: Delhaize Shopping Cora Anderlecht
  • Liège: Colruyt Boncelles, Colruyt Herstal
  • Mons: Aldi Mons II (Chaussée de Binche)*; Delhaize Mons (Chaussée du Roeulx on 7 March); Colruyt Jemappes
  • Namur (only on 7 March): Aldi Namur, Malonne, Wépion, Jambes, Suarlée/Flawinne, Champion, Naninne*; Lidl Champion and Belgrade; Spar Wépion; Intermarché Floriffoux, Nannine and Beez
  • Ostende: Colruyt, Spegelaere
  • Quiévrain: Delhaize Shopping Cora Hornu, Aldi Dour, Quiévrain, Boussu, Frameries (on 7 March)*
  • Tirlemont (only on 8 March): Carrefour Hypermarket, Okay Hoegaarden, Okay Boutersem, AD Delhaize
  • Val de Sambre: Intermarché Tamines, Colruyt d’Auvelais, Proxy Delhaize Velaine
  • Verviers: Delhaize Theux
  • Wavre: Carrefour Bierges
⚠️ Update: the collections planned in ALDI stores will unfortunately not be able to take place.

Can’t make it to a shop?

You can also take part in the online collection until 31 March, offering another way to support the work of the Restos du Cœur.
